Wait so $10 for a merc hero slot?? Seems almost as ridiculous as $10 to change the appearance of your character...kinda tired of EVERY microtransaction being the same price for completely different features.

That being said...i'll still freaking buy it

This is really pretty amazing all the way around... if only because it's such an enormous update. Really makes me wonder what they might have planned for the Anniversary. LOL

VERY well done, ANet. Not everyone is going to be happy with every change, but it does feel like there is something for everyone in all of this.

Hope you guys are taking a long weekend off to celebrate your hard work! You've certainly earned it!

I just aggroed 3 groups of mobs with my current 7 hero setup, and well let me just say I love this update.

I'm...surprised by the Drunkard update. I was hoping for an on-screen drunkenness meter, a la Grog. If people want to spam their ale, that's fine, but for those of us who simply cannot play with post-processing effects on while drunk, now we absolutely have to rely on timers to know if our drunk skills are still effective? *sigh* I'm all for enabling people to max their titles, but it can't all be about the titles. Ale does have other uses.

I lol the new changes with the titles....just zipped up from 9000 minutes to 9800 minutes in about 1 minute.

However I just got booted with about 6 enemies left to kill in Jaya Bluffs and can't log back in for some reason. Wahhhh!!!

It's amazing to see people say Drunkard took "hard work".

If you people think clicking your mouse once per minute when a timer tells you to is "hard work", you really need to get out more. Like, at all.

Bug?

Friend status is wonky, guildies showing as offline in Friends list while they are online (and showing online in guild status). They need to go offline and back online to show back up.

Minimum price for it to be worthwhile for a credit card transaction. Other cash shops get around this by making you buy points that you can spend on items worth less than $10.

But it still beats paying $15 a month to grind mobs over and over (and over) just to stay competitive...

I'm still trying to wrap my brain around a full hero team that might even include more than 3 of a single profession if I elect to buy the mercenary slot(s).

I love this update:-)! I find it very handy that you can say you’re ready or not in Party screen. And just maxed my drunkard title. Saves me allot of time.

Lol I have survivor on my ranger, now my Assassin can go and get it.
But it's going to be awhile for him, with the way Survivor is now, I'm never going to grind for that title again, you can go and play the game legitimately now instead of worrying about loosing serious progression.

Also finally 7 heroes, Henchmen can be removed from my team.
